Life Stories

Hiding, inside, behind her eyes,

There was no old person.

No need takes up her time.

So she does the chores

Then daydreams.

"Now my heart is full as the moon,

but no one asks."

 ***

The parrot,

Life long and green,

Blinks as an unnumbered year goes by.

The ones outside the wires:  shadows talking

(With less time than they know).

Blink.

"The  sky is out of reach, but a seed is always a seed."

***

The egg dreams,

Being timeless and perfect

In gratitude:  no rain, no hunger, no fear.

No one answers its only question:

"Is life worthwhile?"
